The Telangana Labour Card is a government-issued identity card designed for workers in the unorganized sector, especially daily wage earners and construction workers. It is provided by the Telangana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (TBOCWWB) under the Labour Department.

This card acts as a gateway for workers to access multiple welfare schemes and financial assistance programs.

How to Apply Online for Telangana Labour Card

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

  • Go to the Telangana Labour Department Portal.

  • Or, download the TBOCWW Board Mobile App from the Play Store (search for TBocwwBoard).

Step 2: Choose Registration Option

  • Click on BOCW Worker Registration or Construction Worker Registration.

  • If online registration is difficult, you can also visit the nearest MeeSeva Center.

Step 3: Fill in the Application Form

Provide the following details:

  • Full Name

  • Aadhaar Number (linked with mobile)

  • Date of Birth

  • Residential Address

  • Type of Work (construction, plumbing, electrical, etc.)

  • Employer/Contractor Details

  • Bank Account Number (for benefits transfer)

Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Keep scanned copies of these documents ready:

  • Aadhaar Card

  • Passport-size Photograph

  • Address Proof (Ration Card, Electricity Bill, etc.)

  • Bank Passbook (first page)

  • Age Proof (if DOB not mentioned in Aadhaar)

  • Work Certificate (issued by employer/contractor)

Step 5: Submit and Pay Fee

  • Pay the registration fee (₹25–₹50).

  • Submit the application and note the application/reference number.

Step 6: Track Application Status

  • Track your application through the portal or mobile app.

  • Once approved, the Labour Card will be issued. It can either be downloaded online or delivered physically.

Labour Card Renewal

  1. The Telangana Labour Card is valid for one year.

  2. Renewal is mandatory every year through the portal or at a MeeSeva Center.
